   BLOOMING ONION
This popluar all American appetizer is said to have originated on the Outback Steakhouse menu. It has since swept the nation and is featured at several major chain restaurants. Chili's calls it an "Awesome Blossom". There are 2710 calories in an 'Awesome Blossom'...and 60 in an onion! It's nice to know you can load up on some greasy calories just about anywhere in the USA. Anyone up for some bowling and an "Awesome Blossom"?
