          SPACE INVADER INVASION
1st Place April 09 Have you ever happened upon a tiled Space Invader on a city street? Most of these creations are the work of one man. He likes to be called "Invader". For the past eight years he has been traveling the planet earth playing his own reality Space Invader game. For every tiled Space Invader he cements in place he gives himself points. He has Invaded 35 cities on five continents. He is documenting his invasion and even offers a collection of maps. If your planning a trip to one of the invaded cities stay alert, bring your laser beam and remember they like to move sideways.

        HAMMERHEAD SHARKS
Shark = awesome Shark + hammer = really, really awesome You know, when you think about it, adding a hammer makes it more awesome. Take a man—add a hammer—you have a rugged construction man. What time is it? 3:30? Not very exciting. Add a hammer and you have Hammer Time. WAY more awesome. So yeah, cross a hammer with a shark, and you really have something.

I dunno, I'm starting to see through the alleged "awesomeness" of the Hammerhead Shark. I mean, sure it sounds pretty awesome, but until that shark can REALLY hammer on something with the sides of it's head, it's really more of a deformity than an indicator of awesomeness.

Wow, i know. I mean its kinda awesome, but not undefeated awesome. Its like a video game version of Where the Hell is Matt, but without the depth and meaning of it.

At most it inspires perplexed bemusement... but it doesn't make me feel awe-struck.

Although, I do think it's the most awesome graffiti ever. It takes a lot more thought and time than just using a can of spray paint.

I'm quite fond of the fact that he installed several of his works at the MOMA, the British Museum and the Tate ... without anyone knowing about it for several weeks.

Banksy is super-awesome...but I also love the fact that Invader is not only doing guerilla art, he's got his own points system for it. That's so unnecessary as to be awe-tastic!!!

The existence of a creature like the Hammerhead shark seems about as likely as Lazer Bears... and yet, here it is! Hammerhead sharks made it, still waiting on Lazer Bears.

yeah, you'll have to help out a bit, like you said, we need to take luchadores up a bit, but I haven't found any videos I really liked better than the slide show. Laser bears are awesome too, but I haven't found quite enough supporting material other than one of Colbert's green screen challenges..
