The newest member of the marsupial family is the Peekaru. This crazy new animal has a super soft fleece fur that has actually been enhanced by the consumption of plastic bottles. This new creature seems quite tame and has been know to frequent weekend youth soccer games. The Peekaru has been spotted in a variety of colors: black, gray, green, lavender and blue. The location of the pouch seems to vary from the front to the back, and taking the marsupial gene pool to the next level, the male Peekaru comes equipped with a pouch so that he too can care for his young. If you would like to check out a Peekaru in person visit TogetherBe for a list of locations.

i dont see how this could beat anything this month... except maybe tiesto... or if the boyfriend Pillow comes back ...
reply
I would really like to see a peekaru vs. snuggie vs. boyfriend pillow vs. SkyRest pillow vs. couch dress death match.
reply
and them all against mock apple pie.

Quaaaaaaaid, start the reaaaaactoorrrrrrr.
reply
If Peekaru had been billed as your very own Quatto costume, would that have earned it some awesome points?
reply
Man, I got six kids to feed. I don't have time to worry about that.
reply
I thought you said it was 5 kids....?

He's been busy.

Alright, I'm gonna go ahead and [try to] make the argument for the Peekaru. (A) I promotes bonding between parent and child. (B) It allows the child to be warmed by the parent's body heat. (C) It's got a cooler name than a "Baby Bjorn". (D) It contains the little ankle-biters so they can't run over and bother me. (E) It's like baby a transportation unit AND a straight-jacket in one.
Alright, that's about the best I can do...sorry Peekaru inventors...
reply
I thought argument D was compelling, but then I realized the peekaru only contains the kids' movement, not the sound. If it had some kind of soundproof bubble (that lets air through), I'd be all for it.

Over Chindogu? I don't think so.
reply
Isn't it possible to have TWO MAPs this month?
reply
Sooner or later they will battle in an epic UnAwesomeOff competition. The winner will maintain its dignity, while the other will wallow in shame, eating Spam and Mock Apple Pie for all eternity.
reply
Peekaru is far less awesome than Chindogu. Chindogu is about the spirit of inovation, which is awesome, combined with an inability to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Peekaru combines creepy with crappy. Plus it involves children, and children are inherently not awesome.
reply
I'm forced to agree with Olav on this one.
reply
Lol, alright, i see it. Peekaru kinda reminds me of a birth, but somehow everything got flipped around in there and popped out of her chest.
reply
Seriously... how is Peekaru at 2%?
Someone voted for Peekaru over a planet-destroying laser?
RUJK? ZOMG! HTML? WTF?
THIS MAKES NO SENSE!

OK, this is like that scene in Alien where the baby alien bursts out through the guy's chest except this is far more disturbing because it's an actual real life human baby.
