Special Selection July 2009 Litteral video versions are pretty big fad on YouTube, but the art is being perfected more with each posted video. The concept is simple, there is nothing more pretentious and random than your average 1980's music video. You listen to the song, and maybe don't fully pay attention to how completely lame the visual story is in the video. Fast forward 25 years, and some talented artists are re-recording new lyrics to these lame visuals, and the result is pure gold. The first video in this playlist has more awesome than can be taken in just one viewing. "What the effing crap, that angel guy just felt me up" - pure genius

Special Selection October 08 Vik Prjonsdottir is a Icelandic clothing designer, who has created a variety of items that will likely end up here. When I see this beard cap, it makes me want to go back to high school and strangle my home economics teacher. I mean, I learned to knit... but I never dreamed knitting could have been my path to greatness. Vik has done something here that can not be taken lightly. If you head off to the mountain with this on, is there any doubt you will have more fun, have better adventures and meet more interesting people? Its like, this cap is a reality filter. I think the Ah-ha one is great, but I can not find the original. I'm not going to post the one with that douche from digg, I want the original without the intro or starwars crap at the end. I just can't find it!

This also has Dustin's other three literal videos. Take On Me and Under The Bridge were banned from his YouTube account (though other YT users repost them).
Dust Films (DustoMcNeato on YT) originated the literal video. The four by him, and the eight by DASjr Productions (dascottjr on YT) seem to be the most highly regarded, though HomeStarRunnerTron's two are well-produced, and worth a look.

The couch dress was accidental. It was like she was quilting and then messed up and ended up with a dress. The Moustache Balaclava required vision. Winner.
