    GANDALF
Gandalf, the key character in J.R.R. Tolkin's Lord of the Rings series, was basically the most bad-assed wizard ever imagined. He was kind, simple, smoked a pipe, wandered the land.. but when it came time to fight, look the f*** out. Throughout the LOTR trilogy as well as the predecessor, The Hobbit, Gandolf never truly met his match. Even when dragged to the depths of middle earth by the giant fire demon Balrog, he not only emerged victorious, but transcended from Gandolf the Grey, into Gandalf the White, a more powerful second generation of the wizard. Before it was over he had stared down Balrog, The Witch King, Saruman the White, and the dark lord Sauron.

      MIND CONTROLLED WHEELCHAIRS
Perhaps this is not a device that is ready for prime time, but its here, its possible, its a proof of concept. If you have ever known someone who has lost use of any part of their body, you know how difficult a disability such as this can be. The concept that we can develop devices that are mind controlled for people who have lost use of their legs and arms is totally incredible. Today a wheel chair, what's next? Robotic feet or arms? Is this the first inclination that a brain could be used to drive a car, or an entire cybernetic body? The possibilities are endless, exciting.. awesome. This could be the most awesome entry yet.
