Due to their relatively inaccessible habitat, the Manticore has had to live on the pages of books and on the ledges of churches. Described centuries ago by the likes of Ctesias, Pliny and Aristotle, today's Manticore is an evolved beast. His flamed colored lion like body is flanked with bat wings. His human head is framed with human ears and a curly beard. He has blue eyes and 3 rows of teeth. His spiked tail stings like a scorpion. And with an appetite for human flesh and a voice like a trumpet he is the beast you hate to love.

Let's face it, wearing a cape makes everything better. Whether it's running in the back yard, diving onto a hotel bed, plunging the toilet or fighting off your roommate—the task at hand is much much more enjoyable with a cape. The cape makes you and everyone around you believe that you are special, swifter, more graceful, worthy, important and down right awesome. So if you're just doing your job or going on your morning jog, don't forget the cape.

...Unless your cape is kevlar!
When I think capes I think Batman, 3 Musketeers, Superman. Theses dude never had a problem with capes. Capes are for pros, if you're not awesome enough to wear one you might get in trouble for trying to look awesome. In every other case: Capes = Awesome!

I learned from "The Incredibles" and "Watchmen" that capes are not Awesome, and can in fact, become a massive liability in the fighting of crime.
But I learned from 300 that it's not really g** to wear only a leather speedo and a cape, so I'm torn about capes.

I don't think that this particular G a y needs to be screened.

I'm picturing capes like when I was a little kid and felt empowered when I put one on. Those memories are whats making me vote for capes.
reply
ok, but if you're cape gets caught in a revolving door and you get gunned down by your arch rival, don't come crying to me.
reply
Dude if you aren't awesome enough to wear a cape something bad will happen to you for sure and you will deserve it. Batman, Superman, Zorro... They never had trouble wearing the awesome mantle. Capes are awesome!
