3rd Place December 08 This is no I-dog! Boston Dynamics has created the BigDog it "runs at 4 mph, climbs slopes up to 35 degrees, walks across rubble, and carries a 340 lb load." Boston Dynamics claims it's 'The Most Advanced Quadruped Robot on Earth.' Pretty cool... but possibly even more awesome is the beta version.

Special Selection October 08 Vik Prjonsdottir is a Icelandic clothing designer, who has created a variety of items that will likely end up here. When I see this beard cap, it makes me want to go back to high school and strangle my home economics teacher. I mean, I learned to knit... but I never dreamed knitting could have been my path to greatness. Vik has done something here that can not be taken lightly. If you head off to the mountain with this on, is there any doubt you will have more fun, have better adventures and meet more interesting people? Its like, this cap is a reality filter. I feel like with it on, everything I see would instantly be more awesome. P.S. Efrivararskegg! meet Hat. Vik Prjonsdottir is a trend setter extraordinaire.
