The loveboat was awesome, and all order was kept by the beloved Captain Stubing. Stubing was played by Gavin MacLeod and spent his time with the passengers encouraging them to find romance on the ship.
The series is noted as being one of the only hour-long series' ever made in America that carried a laugh track.
