To me, up on his dais like that, this Tiesto fellow seems like the Thomas Kinkade of deejays.
Thomas Kinkade is awful. He's just so repugnant. And he's only 51, so we're going to have to put up with his BS for the next 20 years.
I almost broke into tears when I realized that Thomas Kinkade isn't aged and decrepid. And one in 20 people in the U.S. own a Thomas Kinkade painting. That's sick.
Ouch, that's harsh. Its a shame that people find Tiesto as just generic techno eurotrash, when he's pretty much changed the industry of trance music. Compared to some DJ's, like Armin van Buuren and Darude, his techno is original and soulful of thats even possible. Shame on those who voted for unibrow over him.

Yeah, I'm sorry but Tiesto just flies right over my head. I'm sure there are some of you who see the awesomness in what he does, but he is the only candidate this month I haven't voted for even once. That's right - I've even voted for Unibrow (I kinda have one) and Peekaru!

Only reason I am not voting for Tiesto is because I saw him with my ex-girlfriend and he reminds me of her. Stupid I know, but there ya go. Tiesto is actually pretty good, saw him at a live concert (rave?) in a Beijing club, wasn't bad.

Same-ish. Have you ever been to a rave? The bass and melodies just take you to a euphoric place like Narnia or Amsterdam. Of course, I'm 17 years old. Us young people love techno.
I've been to a rave. I actually worked a rave. I suspect I would have enjoyed it a lot more with copious amounts of narcotics. As it was, I saw a man in a leather thong, two fetuses playing Simon, A bunch of kids sitting on a sofa, staring at a wall with a kaleidoscope being projected on the wall, and a bunch of chicks playing with fire. (admittedly, that last part was the high point of the evening.)
I think perhaps its lost on me somehow.

I have not been to a rave, but mostly because back in college I developed a severe allergy to techno music. And now I'm twice your age and obviously quite curmudgeonly. Don't take the EuroDoucheBag comment too hard. Look at me in my profile pic with ridiculous facial hair, holding up a little bottle of Campari. Obviously I'm just a EuroDoucheBag wannabe. Now GET OFF MY LAWN!!

My dad's from Norway, my mom's from Newcastle and I used to live in Grenoble. I wear black turtlenecks, and smoked Gauloises (before I quit.)
